when the Linux desktop is nothing more than a terminal used to
connect to the web?
"Mark Shuttleworth: No, I don't think so. I
think you can give people a richer experience though a client
application then you can just through the web. Again, I think the
emphasis tends to swing like a pendulum. We went from green screen
terminals to rich clients and then we went back to the web. In due
course, I think balance will be restored. You can do some
interesting things..."
