"Palm Inc.'s CEO said today that his company expects to release
before the end of 2008 devices running the Linux-based operating
system it currently has in development.
"Ed Colligan said, 'Our Palm systems team... is now totally
focused on delivering our next generation platform, which we expect
to be available before the end of the next calendar year...'"
