A Review of Fedora 8, on the PowerPC

"Having heard much--nearly all of it positive--about the Fedora Project's latest offering, Fedora 8, I decided to change direction somewhat and review this GNU/Linux distribution on a Power Macintosh G4. Remember, the Fedora distribution is officially supported on, as of this version, three processing architectures: x86 (32-bit), x86-64 (also known as AMD64), and PowerPC.

This distribution did show differences in the state of the packages' functionality in several cases when going to PowerPC.
