"So many distributions, so many available choices. Why such endless variety? Wasn't Linux supposed to make things easier for the former/future ex-Windows user? How can this scenario be good in any way? Think for a second: there's a guy that just bought a PC. If he wants to install Windows, he can choose from Windows 2k, XP or Vista. But what if he wants to go with Linux? He has like... 234,546,347,845,345 different distributions to choose from. This whole thing is turning into a messy thingy similar to guy searching soul mate. In this variety of choices, the chances he really finds what he truly wants and needs are slim to 'are you kidding me?'

"Let's not get overwhelmed by this and try to focus on those few distributions that really worth using, reviewing, presenting to new users and so on..."
