"DRM and other anti-customer proprietary solutions are not good either, but they are good for open source in that they help drive customers away from proprietary, closed source solutions, and over to potentially better open source solutions. So in a way, I'm very much in favor of these kind of systems, in proprietary solutions only. They will push people to grow tired of the ball and chain keeping them stuck, and move over to where they should be: enjoying the freedoms FOSS brings."
