"The dual-boot glitch seems to be due to the way in which Windows Update stores its installation files in the Ubuntu partition for some bizarre reason, so it might take a while to fix that one, if ever. Microsoft has never officially sanctioned dual-booting Window and Linux, so it's probably not very high on its list of priorities."
