"Ubuntu Pocket Guide and Reference "assumes zero Linux knowledge," says the author. Written for anybody switching to Ubuntu, it is said to be particularly aimed at former Windows users. Published by MacFreda earlier this month, and distributed on Amazon, the book was recently made available for free on Ubuntupocketguide.com. Apparently, this approach has stirred considerable interest, says the author. "..."However, around two thirds of the visitors to the website are Windows users, and I think my book might be providing the 'final piece of the jigsaw' for people who have been thinking of making the switch to Ubuntu."
