So you want to run windows programs on Linux?

"If none of those solutions are suitable then stop thinking about using Linux. Stop complaining that you will use Linux if only it could run this program. Either use the operating system the program was designed for or use an alternative program designed for the operating system you wish to use.

"The funny thing to me is. I only hear these sort of complaints when it regards Linux. I never hear them about Mac's. At the most, I hear that people wish to install parallels to run windows and its programs. Whats parallels? It is just a virtual machine. Same as vmware and Virtualbox.

"If you absolutely positively must use a windows program and you have heard that it can run under wine then don't complain that it is too hard or you have to fiddle around with configuration files to get it to work. Don't complain that it doesn't work exactly like it does under windows. What you are trying to do is not normal. You are knowingly exceeding the design limitations of the program or in other words, you are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole."
