"Before this latest release, Evolution could only talk to Exchange servers using a SOAP interface, which wasn't supported on all versions of Exchange, and didn't provide the same level of functionality as MAPI, Microsoft's native messaging protocol. Now Evolution should be able to connect to any version of Exchange Server."
