"The HP Deskjet D2680 is very easy to install in Linux. First I installed hplip and then I installed hplip-gui. After that it was as simple as plugging the printer in and then opening the HP device manager. The HP Device Manager can be found in Mandriva 2010 in the System Tools section of the Menu. Then click on setup device. On the following screen I had to select USB. After that the program detected the printer and in a few moments it was ready to be used, the installation took about 5 minutes.

"This printer does not come with a usb cable so you will need to make sure you have one for plugging the printer into the computer."
