How To Make The GIMP's Layout Like Photoshop's.

The GIMP's default layout is not very good and for the most part, people will most likely come from using Adobe Photoshop, like I did many years ago.

The reality is, that there are a lot of Adobe Photoshop users out there, whether that be professional or amateur. Adobe Photoshop's layout is generally a good default anyway, maximising workspace space and accessible. The GIMP 2.8 will have a single window interface but for now, we're stuck with the utility panels, which show up as separate windows but can be minimised as one in version 2.6.
