"Sprint has come forward as the latest carrier to detail pricing
and availability for the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab, a
tablet computer that some analysts and observers see as one of the
more credible competitors to Apple's iPad.
"On Monday, Sprint said that it would begin shipping the
Android-powered device Nov. 14, for $399 and a choice of a 2 GB
data plan for $29.99 a month or a 5 GB plan for $59.99 a month.
"Sprint said that it is accepting preorders for the device
today.
""Samsung Galaxy Tab is another Android innovation for Sprint,
adding a new category of wireless devices to the Sprint portfolio,"
Fared Adib, Sprint's vice president of product development, said in
a statement."
