"Chrome OS is designed so that nearly all your computing needs
will be dealt with by 'the cloud'. Which for many will just be an
extension of the large amount of time they already spend making use
of a browser, whether it is Chrome or one of the other
versions.
"The big drawback with any notebook equipped with the Chrome OS
is that it will be unable to run any type of desktop application,
this in turn will mean that it will become practically useless if
it is not connected to the Internet."
