HTC Unveils Flyer Tablet with Digital Pen, Facebook Phones and Updated Android Smartphones

"Android pioneer HTC today is introducing five new smartphones and its first tablet PC -- a portfolio designed to appeal to a variety of demographics, from the Facebook fanatic to the enterprise user.

"The HTC Flyer marks the company's entry into the tablet PC sector and features a tablet-optimized version of the company's user interface, Sense, as well as a digital pen-stylus for note-taking and writing, called "HTC Scribe Technology."

"So, in addition to touchscreen interaction, users "can rediscover the natural act of writing," according to the company's statement. "HTC Scribe Technology introduces a wave of integrated digital ink innovations that make it easy and natural to take notes, sign contracts, draw pictures, or even write on a web page or photo."
