"Red Hat says that reducing overheads has, for example, improved
the distribution's virtualisation performance. The distributor also
notes that it has extended the control group's functionality. From
6.1, the High Availability add-on will reportedly offer failover
handling functions for KVM guest systems. The beta's new and
improved drivers include particularly many network, storage and
graphics hardware drivers; for example, RHEL 6.1 offers a driver
for the graphics chip included in the Sandy Bridge processors Intel
introduced at the beginning of the year. Red Hat has also promised
PCI Express 3.0 support."
