"Why did I choose Diaspora? Why not Google plus? Google has
created a "free" Facebook alternative. The problem with their kind
gesture is that it is not done for the purpose of freedom and
privacy but more for their need to know everything about the
customer to target their advertising and make money. At the end of
the day, they are no different than Facebook.
"You might note that Diaspora appears to be just like Google+.
There are many similarities with respect to the look and feel of
the two programs."
