Jun 20, 2000, 19:53 (2 Talkback[s])
"GraphOn Corporation, (Nasdaq: GOJO), (www.graphon.com),
developers of Bridges web-enabling software, and China's RedFlag
Software Co., Ltd., providers of China's most popular Linux
distribution, today announced an agreement to jointly develop
business and marketing opportunities in China. In addition to
plans for mutual market development in government,
telecommunications, business and education in China, the companies
are initiating plans to enable Red Flag Linux desktops to run
Windows applications remotely. A component of GraphOn Bridges
will be included in the desktop distribution of Red Flag Linux,
creating a ready platform for users to access and run Windows
applications that have been web-enabled with the server component
of GraphOn Bridges for Windows software."
"GraphOn and RedFlag Software have committed to expanding their
relationship and including other technology providers to the Linux
solutions the two companies have initiated. RedFlag will host and
demonstrate GraphOn Bridges with RedFlag Software's Linux at
customer sites and on RedFlag Software's own servers and desktops.
The agreement includes the development of a joint business plan to
aggressively pursue the China market and promote awareness through
public events, seminars and trade shows. Earlier this week, GraphOn
announced a similar agreement with Compaq China."
