BrowserWatch: Is Netscape leaving the browser market?

Comments from Netscape President Jim Bankoff indicate that
Netscape is ready to drop active browser development and will
instead focus on developing Netcenter as a vital Web portal. As
Bankoff told Reuters:
"The browser is a crown jewel. However, six months from
now, you won't consider Netscape to be a browser
company."
