"In an attempt to save itself from the 'tech wreck,'
Mission Critical Linux Inc. has been sold, has laid off most of its
staff and is reinventing itself with a new business plan.
The once-thriving Lowell startup recently cut its staff of about
95 down to just six workers after an anticipated acquisition fell
through, said new managing partner Rick Angell.
Angell, a venture capitalist and original Mission Critical
investor, bought the remainder of the company's assets and debt at
the end of February."
