"On 20 August 2002, Turbolinux announced that SRA, a software
and system integration firm with annual revenue of about $200
million (some from Linux), has agreed to buy its Linux distribution
business.
"It will become a division of SRA with headquarters in Tokyo.
The vendors did not disclose the terms of the deal.
"First take: The deal makes sense for Turbolinux, which didn't
have much success, especially in the United States, and needed more
stable financial backing..."
