"For businesses looking to run Linux or expand their use of the open-source operating system, there's a wide range of products designed to help with deployment, management and the addition of needed applications, including e-mail and groupware.

"From German Linux vendor SuSE AG, there's a new SuSE Linux Office Desktop operating system that allows users to run Microsoft Office 97 or Office 2000 natively, using built-in software provided by CodeWeavers Inc.'s CrossOver Office. Users can either install the included StarOffice 6.0 suite from Sun Microsystems Inc. or CrossOver Office, which allows the use of Microsoft Office 97 or 2000 and their included applications..."
