"Linux distributor Red Hat is positioning for a share of the Japanese market, and has turned to Japanese open source technology integrator Ten Art-ni to give it a foothold.

"Under the deal, Ten Art-ni will integrate and deliver Red Hat Enterprise Linux for its customers. The company noted that its partnership with Red Hat is a strategic match.

"Ten Art-ni is an affiliated company of Otsuka Corp., an IT system integrator with more than 5,000 IT engineers and sales representatives throughout Japan. Ten Art-ni, founded in 1997, has built its business on technologies like Java and Linux. It provides pre-development research, analysis and system design with the goal of tailoring systems to each customer's need..."
