"Atlanta-based Jade USA, a division of the company that invented LINC, the application development environment for the Unisys mainframe, is working with IBM to give 2,000 Unisys customers a way to migrate their proprietary LINC systems to JADE on IBM's mainframe, giving them a new and open environment.

"The LINC systems are transitioned to JADE using a highly automated service that replicates the development, production and operational environment of the LINC system onto a new, open platform that is more cost effective and gives companies greater flexibility when it comes to future development..."
