"Raleigh-based Linux provider Red Hat announced on Wednesday that its executives will bring the company's open-source message to four continents via a seven-city world tour sponsored by IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

"The tour will kick off March 17 with dual events in Boston and Tokyo. Red Hat Chief Executive Officer Matthew Szulik will keynote the meeting in Boston while John Young, Red Hat's vice president of marketing, will be a featured speaker in Tokyo.

"Other stops on the tour include Sydney and Brisbane, Australia; Munich, Germany; and London. The tour will close March 30 with an event in Toronto headlined by Szulik..."
