"On St. Patrick's Day, Novell announced they are ready to deliver OpenOffice to their small business customers and resellers through Novell's Application Partner Portal.

"Novell has been early among companies to identify the importance of OpenOffice for offering a full-function office suite with an open file format to users of Windows, Linux and other desktops.

"Novell has made a significant commitment of resources to the development of OpenOffice through Novell Ximian Services and Michael Meeks' leadership of work on GNOME / OOo integration, fonts, rendering and other important areas. And now the company is establishing a much needed channel of distribution and support for OpenOffice to encourage its use by small business..."
