"PeopleSoft has announced a new tools package that will allow its EnterpriseOne suite to run on the Linux and WebLogic platforms.

"The package, EnterpriseOneTools 8.93, also reduces installation times for the mid-market ERP suite, the company says.

"While choice always is good, there is not yet a compelling reason for mid-market companies, in general, to move toward the Linux platform, AMR Research's Bill Swanton told CRM Daily..."
