"Oracle Corp has launched a Linux business unit which will take advantage of support for the freely-distributed operating system in the Asia Pacific region. The regional unit, to be headed by Oracle vice-president Leigh Warren, would work to develop and support customer implementations on Linux platforms.

"The Oracle Asia Pacific Linux Business Unit would consist of a board led by regional Oracle Asia Pacific execituve vice-president Derek Williams..."
