"The city of Barcelona--Spain's second largest city--recently
announced it will be phasing out its current Windows NT
infrastructure in favor of open source software, according to
IBLNEWS and other prominent Spanish-language news outlets.
"Barcelona's move comes after the German city of Munich took
this same path more than a year ago, in a high-profile battle in
which Microsoft executives personally visited city officials to
make a counteroffer..."
