"While open source software (OSS) is gaining a higher profile in
Thailand, many experts claim that the government sector here has
not been doing enough to seriously spearhead its adoption. To
counter that view, the Software Industry Promotion Agency (Sipa) on
Monday held a seminar--'Open Source Software Promotion in
Thailand'--to emphasise the government's role in this area.
