"It wasn't actually necessary to attend the recent LinuxWorld
Canada show in Toronto last month to realize that open-source
software is taking off. Open source seems to be everywhere. Of
course there's Linux. IBM has been a Linux proponent for a while.
More recently Novell bought SuSE and came out as a Linux advocate
as well. Anyone who still thinks the Linux community is a bunch of
pony-tailed penguin-buggers is out of touch. This operating system
has big names behind it..."
