"Dell made inroads into the Linux server space last week at LinuxWorld in San Francisco.

"The company extended its servers into the Linux market with the announcement that it would support the LAMP stack, MySQL Network and JBoss Networks. LAMP is an open source Web platform that includes Linux, the Apache Web server, the MySQL database and Perl, Phython or PHP. Customers can now get subscriptions to the MySQL Network and JBoss Network support from Dell. The Linux in the LAMP stack is either Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server..."
