"According to experts, the Mozilla Foundation's announcement on Aug. 3 regarding the creation of the Mozilla Corporation, a taxable for-profit subsidiary, is a bit different. The decision here was purely business-oriented because the foundation's officials were hit with the reality that if the foundation was to continue its mission of providing open-source browsers, then it must expand its business and have monies available to reinvest in its software-development initiatives.
