"Sun doesn't usually take action without making a lot of noise, so we were somewhat surprised this week by the volume of news that came relatively unadorned from Santa Clara. After several weeks of Strum und Drang announcements of speedbumps and customer wins, a burst of news came quietly from Sun headquarters, and the company tangoed to a different tune with IBM this week.
