"A report by Gartner claims that Novell's stiffest competition
for the small and medium business server space will come not from
Microsoft, but Apple.
"The report, entitled Apple vs Novell: an unlikely battle for
SMB open-source relevance, claims that companies looking for open
source alternatives to Microsoft are going to a better match with
Apple than Novell. 'Novell will struggle to find a relevant product
offering for the SMB community,' the report predicts, while 'Apple
will be increasingly recognized as the open-source platform of
choice for the SMB community...'"
