USA Today: Sun Microsystems Posts Quarterly Loss but Revenue Tops Estimates

"Computer maker Sun Microsystems Tuesday swung to a quarterly net loss due to charges related to restructuring and job cuts, while revenue topped analyst expectations, sending its shares higher in after-hours trading.

"The fiscal fourth quarter net loss was worse than analysts had expected, but revenue rose more than 20% from the prior quarter, the biggest increase from the third to fourth quarter since fiscal 2000, Sun said..."
