Open Source Bridge honors open source citizens

On the final day of Open Source Bridge, the
community-run open source conference in Portland, Oregon, the
conference chairs presented three people with the Open Source
Citizen award: Sumana Harihareswara, Igal Koshevoy, and Asheesh
Laroia.
Over the course of the conference, attendees nominated people
who "made an extra effort to help others and share their
knowledge." On the final day, the organizing committee chose three
people that exemplified those ideals. Recipients earned a scarf in
recognition of their work.
