"Richard Stallman is a hippy. If you don't know who he is then google it, you'll get a whole bunch of sites on him. For those of you who don't really have the time or don't really care let me give you a brief description of the man. Richard Stallman is the founder of the FSF or the Free Software Foundation, which was formed in 1984 to promote free software development as opposed to proprietary software for which he also started something called the GNU project. The aim of the project was to develop enough free software to be able to do without proprietary software. I know that at this point 90% of those who are reading this article would be saying, 'what the hell is free software and proprietary software...?'"
