"Clegg's presentation was followed a couple of hours later by a brief speech and an extensive, lively Q&A from Corel founder and CEO Dr. Michael Cowpland, in which Cowpland outlined the roadmap for Corel Linux in the year 2000." "Cowpland's presentation was highly interactive, as members of the crowd used the opportunity of his visit to Comdex to ask him questions on almost every aspect of Corel's Linux initiative." "Cowpland noted that in Corel's most recent financial quarter, Corel Linux shrinkwrapped Linux software sales amounted to a respectable $3 million, in spite of the fact that a free downloadable version of Linux is also available."
