"Microsoft hasn't asked us explicitly to do this, but if we
could make NT fully Linux- or Solaris-compatible, this would be a
great way to have ISVs [independent software vendors] move their
[Linux and Solaris] applications automatically to our platform,"
says Softway president Doug Miller. "
Linux compatibility to NT? How would they do that? Reverse
engineer our code, or just look at the source? Maybe they will
