Jan 27, 1999, 13:58 (0 Talkback[s])

"Alfredo Kengi Kojima announced today that Window Maker has become an official GNU "project." Because of its new status, Window Maker will enjoy distribution through the extensive gnu network."

"Window Maker is rapidly growing to one of the big names in X Window Managers, portable to most *NIX's, and with a modern day NeXT feel. Without even reaching version 1.0 yet, it has gained a reputation as being easily configurable, and highly stable. In addition, GNOME support, KDE support, OPEN LOOK support, Motif support, and current GNUstep support are all featured in WindowMaker."
