"If you have ever read Sun Tzu's The Art of War, you should already be familiar with the game Myth II:Soulblighter, the long awaited sequel to Myth: The Fallen Lords. This game will set the Linux world on its ear with its innovative interface, superior graphics, environmental sound, and addictive game play. So far, Myth II runs on Linux, Windows, and MacOS. The Linux port was completed by Loki Entertainments who has made a business of porting popular Windows games to Linux."
"The packaging is simple, which is good. The interior contains one manual, the game cdrom and a 2-sided keyboard card with the default key mappings. There was no registration card. In the manual, Bungie would prefer that the registration be done online. I tend to agree with this approach. I almost never mail those funny little pieces of registration papers, and loathe to see the multitude of advertising pamphlets that come with most games. Hurray to Bungie/Loki for reducing the clutter in the game box to only what is absolutely necessary. The next step I would like to see is for companies to head towards a smaller box design. Let's face it, folks, a box the size of a monitor screen to hold one CD, a small book and a card is a real waste of real estate."
