"After six months of talking the e-speak talk,
Hewlett-Packard will finally walk the e-speak walk next month,
delivering the source code for the technology, which company
officials hope will be at the heart of future business-to-business
"In what could be seen as the first attempt to generate the
critical mass of support that company officials admit is necessary
for the technology to succeed, HP handed out the e-speak beta code
for the first time Tuesday at its E-services Developer's Conference
in San Jose, Calif. The next step will be to make the code
available to all developers, which the company will do Dec. 8 via a
free download at www.e-speak.net."
