"CoreLinux++ has started the enlistment of consortium members for the purpose of establishing standards and guildelines for Open Source Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and C++ implementations for Linux.

The result of this effort will be the development of Open Source C++ core class libraries specific to the Linux operating system.
