"Linux is known for its stability, but even if you use Linux, things can go wrong. You never know when someone will spill beer all over your laptop or Windows tries to "fix" your Linux partition. In this case you need a backup and a Linux bootdisk. Tomsrtbt is a mini distribution, which fits on one HD floppy. It can be used to repair both ext2 and msdos filesystems or simply to impress your friends."
"After you downloaded it, you can install tomsrtbt from Linux as well as from Dos, which can be very useful when your Linux box doesn't boot and all your friends use Windows. To install tomsrtbt from Linux, simply extract the archive with the command "tar -zxpvf archive". After that cd into the new directory (tomsrtbt-version), insert a blank 1.44 Mb disk and run "./install.s."
