"It sits on my desk purring away. No, I'm not talking about my cat, Rosina...although she is also known to do the same. I'm talking about my little Rebel.com NetWinder DM (development machine)."

"Coincidently, Rosina's favorite place these days is laying down on the papers on my desk, nestled up against the NetWinder. I think she likes the warmth and the buzz of the small fan. When I walk into the office in the morning, it's not unusual to find the little computer pushed against the wall and my lunatic cat sprawled out on the desktop with the books, papers, and coffee cups scattered all over the floor."

"In the year I've owned it, Rebel.com's machine has taken everything Rosina and I can shove at it. It's a little gem. Although I purchased mine from Corel Computer, it's the same basic hardware anybody can buy today. But, like many Linux products, it's been a work in progress. The software has gone through some dramatic development since I took delivery. Throughout the process, my NetWinder has been rock stable and reliable. However, when I upgraded the BIOS, kernel, and disk image last autumn, it proved to be a scary yet very educational experience."
