PC Week: Corel shows off WordPerfect Office for Linux

"Hot on the heels of last week's beta release of its WordPerfect Office 2000 productivity suite for Linux, Corel Corp. on Wednesday demonstrated how it works at LinuxWorld."

"The beta contains the WordPerfect 9 word processor, the QuattroPro 9 spreadsheet, the Presentations 9 package, the Paradox 9 database and the Corel Central 9 PIM, Corel officials said. WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux is expected to ship in April."

"Betas of the CorelDraw 9 and PhotoPaint 9 graphical applications for Linux are also expected in April and should ship by late summer or early fall, officials said."
