The new site is the outgrowth of the Linux Tape Device Certification Program, developed and administered by EST to test and certify tape drive manufacturer's devices under the Linux operating system. EST developed and maintains the site as a service and resource to Linux users needing accurate and up-to-date information to assist their tape device purchasing decisions."
