"Ever since December, IPO analyst David Menlow has been waiting for the inevitable slowdown in the IPO market. ... For the time being, however, IPO investors can still relax. Analysts see little chance of a correction setting in next week, when approximately 17 companies are planning initial stock offerings."

"Besides Infineon, Menlow expects a few other companies to weigh in with splashy debuts. The list includes Linux software developer Caldera Systems, networking products supplier, and, a European firm that sells last-minute gifts and airline tickets online."

"Investors are also looking a few weeks ahead, when the IPO calendar includes sizeable offerings from cut-rate computer manufacturer and Linux software and services provider LinuxCare, and search engine Alta Vista, among others."
