""We expect results for the next two quarters will mirror those experienced in this quarter," said Mitch Desrochers, controller and vice president of finance at Corel. "We continue to examine our cost structure while focusing more resources on emerging markets such as Linux.""

"Corel hopes its new Linux-based offerings will help boost its bottom line. On Tuesday the company is expected to ship its WordPerfect Office 2000 desktop-productivity suite for the Linux platform. The Standard Edition carries a suggested retail price of $109, while the Deluxe Edition will be available for $159."
