"CATC (Computer Access Technology Corporation) today announced the release of Scyld Computing's Linux software driver for the NetMate USB-to-Ethernet Link. This driver brings the stability and performance of Linux to an increasing number of CATC NetMate users in the rapidly growing server space."

"The NetMate connects PCs and laptops to an Ethernet network through the USB port. The Scyld Computing Linux driver for NetMate provides a no-modification addition of USB support for the Linux 2.2 kernel. The driver integrates the convenience and simplicity of USB plug & play into the Linux kernel."
